It's been competitive this season but it also hasn't been the most entertaining, if you look back on all the weekends where sod all has happened in lots of games up to half time.

Old Trafford, specifically.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup, a large part of it is United's fault

Its the typical arrogant armchair fan harping on about how easy la liga is because of how good Real Barca and even Atleti are, yet Sevilla have repeatedly won the europa league whete England's 2nd tier teams constantly flop and even Bilbao knocked Utd out, as did Wolfsburg, for example
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100%
United are entirely to blame for the demise of English football.

Pep coming to City may affect the competitiveness of the league though.

yup. He is the magician

Hope City miss out on top 4 ready for him.

English football was at its best when United were the dominant team. Right now, cos United have dipped, it brought down the level of English football. No other team has the balls to take the bull by the horns.

You still have the best squad in the country. It can't need that much rebuilding. A few tweaks here and there.

2 new CB's, probably 2 passing CM's, a wide player and a new striker.

a few years back there was about a 7 point spread between the top 8 teams in france...didnt make it the best league in europe because of that fact
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I always make this point but it always goes over peoples heads. The posts will keep getting shifted it's hilarious. When English teams were dominating Europe that was the reason why the PL was the best. Now that all the PL teams are crap and the league is tigher as a result, that is the reason why the PL is the best. Next the PL will be having Thursday fixtures, that will be the reason why it is the best

Kompany, Toure, Silva, Aguero are excellent. the rest I have not been too impressed with.
Add De Bryune and Fernandinho to the that last. The rest are mostly good but not great and we're still 2 years away from any youth player making an impact.
Costa coming off injured and a couple of outstanding saves early in the 2nd half were the turning point for PSG and towards the end they were comfortable winners.
There is no shame losing to this PSG team
City haven't signed a game changer for over 4 years now. That is the issue

I don't think it's as drastic as that, as players can improve under the new manager. And as shown many times, having to bring in too many new players at once never works out great.
City are still the best team in the country at this moment.

De Bryune? He was on fire until he got injured.
Still not entirely convinced. He has helped batter no hoppers like Sunderland but has been absolutely anonymous in games you needed some class. Still for him to make his mark though.
Also, I really do feel Silva's peak is behind him now. I know City fans will disagree but I don't get the feeling defenders fear the sight of him with a ball like they used to
