GT's right in that Madrid have problems that run deeper than any one player, but imo our biggest miss last season was Modric. His pre-injury was amazing, and he hasn't really hit that level again since.

You cant expect your strikers score in every single game three or four to win games. It may happen against lesser teams in La Liga but its not enough to beat the very best. Just look at the defense at times and dont make silly mistakes

That game at Anfield was ridiculous. I've seen a lot of quality players there over the years but no better performances than his and Kroos' that night, was mesmerising.

RM have had too many underperformers this season. I don't rate the defence either.

Don't think the defence itself is the biggest issue; it's more the fact that the forwards are relieved of defensive duties too much. It means there are a lot of gaps to plug for the number of men doing it. It means they're forced to try to anticipate what's going to happen, and you're bound to make more positional errors and individual mistakes when you're being overrun and getting pulled all over the place.

Sevilla still haven't won away all season in the league or in Europe.

Their only away wins have been against lower division rivals in the cup, and in the cup derby at Betis.

What a time/place the Bernabeu would be to break their duck.
