I wonder what odds you would have got for all the home nations to get out the group?
Probably good odds, I would not have expected both Irish teams to get through but they have done very well.

1.92 - #Euro2016 has seen the lowest goals per game ratio in the group stages of a European Championship finals since 1992 (1.75). Tight.

Thought as much. It's been so low on quality and goals.
Great result for the home nations but I do think this has been a very weak competition so far, and internationally speaking, teams aren't particularly strong at the moment, thus some of these weaker teams benefiting.

Only one game changed the general scheme of things.
There were as many 0-0s in the last round of games as in the previous 2, and a further five 1-0s.
I think having third go through has meant teams playing tighter.
Goals have been lacking in this tourny to say the least

But we are pretty much guaranteed massive games every round the way the draw has played out.
Italy v Spain this round.
Spain v Germany quarter.
Spain v France semi.
Think the top half could throw up some of the better games, tbh. As Clockwork says, you often get stalemate with the big guns.
We shall see, at least it can't get any worse now as teams will have to play at some point.

I went to the count of the votes at the general election last year to represent one of the parties.
My job was to stay by a table and watch the counters count and make sure no fiddling was occurring and no electotal fraud was being committed. This happens everywhere. No votes were rubbed out or changed.
Tomorrow the leave and remain campaign will do the same thing. It will almost be impossible to rub it out with people watching.
So don't worry about the use of a pencil
