Yep and like Gerrard England fans can't put club rivalry to the side and see it and then proceed to blame said player for the exit.

I agree, Rooney on the whole had a decent (half-decent) tournament, but there were others who were a lot worse.

put farage in charge of the team, he's on a roll at the moment

Well yes. He wasn't working and that was evident from the first game. Hodgson sees it after a game and a half, changes it, England win, then he changes it back.

Since '66 England in international tournament football have only won 6 games in the knockout stages.
