I agree with you, GT. Still, it would be weird to see such a big name player in his prime leaving on a free. I can't remember the last time that happened.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Honestly....it shows also that we are financially in a good position to let this happen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How so?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well what is so difficult to understand. If PSG according to rumours are interested in signing him they have to pay big. If Arsenal resist to let him go it's because they can let it happen.

3 points and a clean sheet.

Spurs look ordinary. Not sure if they would have won that with 2 if Shelvey wouldnt have his brainfart.

I think if PSG really wanted to sign him this week, they would. I think Neymar was always first choice, now Sanchez would be a waste of a transfer unless they got rid of one of their other wingers.

Nah, think they still would have won.

Not if Arsenal refuse to let him go.

Time for people to acknowledge how good Eriksen is. Still think he's underrated

But we won, so it doesn't matter.

Sanchez being in the last year of his contract probably helps Arsenal in that respect.

Spurs had 73% possession. Boring Newcastle.

posted on 13/8/17

Newcastle were awful. Absolutely no ideas going forward, no creativity. Look like they will struggle to score this season.

posted on 13/8/17

Even if Kane had been sent off I would guess Spurs would have still won to nil.

I think you missed the point.

Emery leaving Julian Draxler out of PSG's list against Guingamp. The club spent €40 million on him just 8 months ago.

It wasnt champagne football from Spurs either....

Newcastle needs to go for Lucas Perez.
