Would have been decent in youngs role to be honest.

Its not based on their skill though is it..

penalties are scored far more often than not. takes more skill to score from open play than from a one on one free shot at the goal with the keeper stranded on the line

that you cant see that is blind loyalty to your club player.

A good tournament progression for England and lasted longer than any of us thought but a very disappointing end.
