Kane is an interesting one, he was excellent for England at the start of the WC, now has been out of sorts for about 3/4 games.

Think your expectations are too unrealistic, England are a young and mostly inexperienced side. It’s a long road now and it’s all about learning for Southgate at this moment. Stop moaning and just get behind the team.

My expectation is to beat a decent team once in a while, and we don't even do that.
We overachieved at the WC and have just beaten a strong Switzerland team with a team nowhere near our full strength.
Benny....spot on fella. Southgate had to pick up hodges and the debacle that was allardyce and change to a tactically better system (3 at the back), bed in new players and drive through a definite way of playing.
I'm being realistic, rather than jumping on the hype train.
Who’s doing the hyping? Think it’s largely agreed that this is a young and improving England team that needs to develop.

Well we shall see when the next tournament comes round with hopefully a bit more of a challenging draw. Let's see how we do against Croatia too.

3 or 4 games? I think he's been going steadily downhill since last season. I said he should be dropped then and now everybody says he should be rested.
