He will have achieved no more than Pellegrini before him so he should be seen as a failure given the funds and his reputation.

Would have been interesting if this Liverpool or conte's Chelsea were around last season. Not sure City would have coped.

Not really. In 2013 -14 season they won the league, even though Pool were ahead of City. History could repeat itself ?
