Still can't believe City lost to facking Newcastle. Guardiola's unnecessarily strong squad selections in the cups may be costing them in the league battle. Still believe Liverpool will bring this home though. Which would be unfortunate. Their fans and army of pundit supporters are annoying as feck.

Spurs have been about the most efficient team in the league after Liverpool this season. I've rarely been impressed by them other than the brief few weeks before they lost at the Emirates, but they never seem to drop points except they are getting battered by the opposition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We were really good following our loss at the Emirates not before it
Beat Leicester, saints, Everton and Bournemouth and scored about 15 over the course of those games
Chelsea
Man City have facked this right up
Poor tonight from Liverpool.
5 points clear though, so not all bad.
Would have took that if offered before this round of games.

City still have Leicester at home. A very dangerous team on the counter attack. We could not deal with their quick ball behind our defence.
Tbh, Liverpool still have this under control. 5 points gap is still quite healthy.
And I don't trust City to not bottle it in other games.
If they'd won yesterday, the gap would be 2 points.
Fraudiola's squad just aren't handling the pressure/intensity of the league games because of the strong sides he's been fielding in the domestic cups (somewhat unnecessarily). However, they still had more than enough quality to have beaten Newcastle yesterday and didn't.
So it's Liverpool's to lose.
I believe the last two times we've dropped points, this site has gone down.
All to play for in the top four battle. Dunno why people expected Spurs to get dragged in even with their injuries. They are very good at snatching points when playing poorly. Once they get Kane back they’ll start winning more games comfortably. Pochettino has done an incredible job to get them so many points with their squad weaknesses and injuries this season. They are only two behind City who have played much better than them this season.
Liverpool on 1st again on MOTD.
Surely tonight the story game should be about Bournemouth?

Not as big a game to be fair.
Just catching motd. The defender joining Utd in summer has fired his future employers bang back into the title race. Liverpool bottling it after going 7 points clear last night.
