True Spurt but then you look at the likes of owen, fowler, torres, suarez, berbatov, van nistelrooy, rooney, tevez, ronaldo, aguero, auba, lacazette, rashford, martial, jesus, henry, wiltord, bergkamp, kane, berbatov, keane, defoe sheringham, etc etc we rarely have the world class striker most top teams have most seasons

Some of those aren't world class. Defoe and Keane are not, nor Rashford yet. And Rooney like Drogba only had the 2 seasons where he got over 20 goals.

It's been a common theme for us though outside of Kane, so you're not alone.

Well, Higuain you could see was past his best before you signed him, and Morata was hardly the finished article either.

There aren't that many strikers right now that are going to guarantee you 20+ goals regularly who you could get. Best off looking to your youth and seeing if they can do anything.

Yeh Abraham really can't be any worse than Higuain/Morata, don't see why he don't just get given a chance. Bit like we bought Barkley and signed Kova on loan but RLC is better than both and Mount looks better than both too

Abraham definitely has the potential to do so if he's got 2 seasons of over 20 goals in the Championship already at his age. Needs to be playing in the PL now to see if he can adapt his form to a tougher league.
