----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be honest, I don't care. A couple of months back, we were a sinking ship with Lampard. Now, a Champions League Semi, an FA cup final and a good chance at top 4. And I gotta listen to a Spurs fan telling me we're boring!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not knocking Chelsea tbh. They did a job. It was more about how poor City were, couldn’t played for 180 minutes and not scored.
And you don’t need to tell me about Spurs, I know we’re dreadful to watch under Jose!

I feel for you. Apart from the first season and a bit, I've hated Mourinho with a passion. Anti football, destroyer of teams. He may get you a short term high but the long term damage he does is just not worth it. Anti football and just nasty.
Jay Emmanuel Thomas wins and scores a penalty to put Livingston back ahead.
Tuchel has been a huge upgrade like it or not.
What a f**king man
I think Pep was probably prepared to lose today to focus on the Prem and Champs League. Always struggle to find rhythm up top when wholesale changes are made like that, only really started to press when Foden came on. Fair play Chelsea, v well organised and clever game management to see it through
If I have to watch Chelsea win another CL and FA Cup double, I'll probably lose my mind. In fact, even just another CL would aggravate me .
These priicks always find a way of winning and getting to finals.

I also think that Tuchel is pragmatic. He is prepared to take advantage when Chelsea are dominant but also stifle the opponent if he needs to. City didn't get a sniff today and Porto scored a flukey injury time goal midweek. He knows how to set his side up to win. If he gets the forward he wants in the summer, Chelsea will be a formidable team.

What he's done with Chelsea in such a short space of time really underlines how mediocre Lampard was with these same players. Rudiger, for example, was immense today, but he looked totally hopeless toward the end of Lampard's reign.

The bit about Lampard, I totally agree with. I was attacked for suggesting Lamps wasn't up to the task ... which he obviously wasn't. How could Rudiger not get into the team when we were lacking leadership and leaking goals? We have a really good squad, far too good for the problems we were creating for ourselves under Lampard.

I think today was always going to be difficult for us. The game on Wednesday was played at such a high intensity we were always going to have to make changes, but then as I say we do struggle to find our feet up top with wholesale changes, especially when the likes of Sterling etc are so out of form. It was set up perfectly for Chelsea to capitalise today, just as it was for Leeds last weekend, and you have some top quality players to make that happen.
Who knows, maybe won’t be the last cup game between us both this season!

It's not just to do with player quality though, Chelsea have reached more finals and won more trophies than any other English side for nearly two decades now. It's insane that you're so consistent in that respect. The desire to win and relentless improvement stems from the top.

Money obviously played a part at the start of the Abramovic era. But it had started before that, probably once Hoddle was replaced by Gullit. What is important is how ruthless the Chelsea owner/board are. The only time I have seen any sentiment was in the length of time it took them to oust Lamps- he should have gone a month before. But in general, the don't tale any crap and act quickly.
