Shaw and Maguire aren't amazing or anything but they're solid enough, get them in a system that protects their flaws and let their attacking talent go at it and they'd be a much better team

Defenders are supposed to stop the ball ending up in the net. If we have to start putting on defenders to protect defenders we are in trouble. Liverpool are surprising me this year, class.

Conte would have a instant impact at Utd.



They've got good players, a manager like Conte would transform them.

If you look at utds team they have lots of players who would get into other clubs. But awb, maguire, lindelof, mctomminay, Fred would not get into the other top 3/4 teams squads

5-0 and then Mane comes on

Utd's results deteriorated dramatically since Ronaldo came back

People keep talking about the quaity United have etc. This is not a Football Manager game, a team is MORE than the sum of it's parts. United are just individuals. Also, I'm not sure who you'd take from this United side for your team. All of Liverpool, City and Chelsea lack in certain areas, but I wouldn't take any of these players, not even the much lauded Pogba or Ronaldo. I think I may like Greenwood.
