Beginning to go through the roof here too.
Cases jumped from around 7,000 a day this time last week to 60,000 yesterday. Friends are having to cancel their Christmas plans left, right, and centre.
By sheer coincidence, after living in Tenerife for 20 years we decided to make this our first Christmas on the island, having spent the previous 19 travelling to see our families on the mainland.
