i love the fall out after England games. Arrogant cants all week and now embarrassed again

Who was making the arrogant comments?
Also, embarrassed? Not really, we were shiiit but didn’t lose

He’s just another belllend who takes ‘it’s coming home’ literally.

Of course I am
''We should beat France easy enough''
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you’re basing this on one comment from one person?
As I said… belllend.
Fack me....wtf.... We had a bad day against a country that sees fit to elect a complete moron as president, and gives you the opportunity to buy a gun when you go to the supermarket for the weekly shop.
Every single one of our current crop of golden generation waste utter dog pap yesterday for reasons that weren't particularly clear,
And frankly when Maguire is the only player that comes out with any credit against them we need to suck it up shut up fold our hand and move on...
That match was a bit of a reality check for anyone who may have got carried away by the Iran match.
What I would say about the Iran game, is that they are decently rated by FIFA and scored twice
So given the fact that we UTTERLY battered them with some of the best football we've seen in a long time, one could get optimistic of what we are capable of.
But we're England.
People are underestimating USA. They are a running team that basically matched England's physicality that stopped any good ball to the wide players.
The issues for England are in the spine. Declan Rice and Mason Mount have declined and thats where the problems are. I don't think England have a replacement for Rice but could bring Sterling inside to replace Mount and play Foden wide on the left.

cinci before the game:
2-0 England
this will be more one sided than the Iran game
cinci after the game:
ha ha, you england fans are so arrogant, thought you'd easily beat the states
why don't you do us all a favour and f()ck off to an argentinian football forum, or a german one, i'd hazard a wild guess that you could find more "arrogant" fans who predicted that they would beat saudi arabia or japan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fack me Don, you are a proper sad sack aren't you. I get it, life gave you lemons, but fack me. England should have dispatched of the US easily today, they are not particularly good, you just made them look it with crap tactics and set up. Forgive me for saying it eh, you fackin wet feeble excuse for a man.

Bit of a scrappy game but Australia the better side so far.
It’s a lively game. And fair play to the stadium design with the air con. I have to say I’m stunned how the weather is not affecting anyone.
So the benefit of that is seeing some good football games. Well, at least games with a bit of pace to it. to the souls that built these stadiums.
WHAT A CRACKIN’ GOAL THAT IS.
Look at the energy of the left back, powering up the field for the overlap… Greta energy

It’s early… you know that was a typo…
But watch that goal again, that left back was going some, and was ignored.
But that’s part of the overlap right, and the guy made the right call to cross… just about got away with it with the deflection.
But the header was sweet.
