Ref must have had a holiday home in France.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why? Two pens and multiple fouls given around the box
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair, he didn't give either of them without VAR reviews - neither were given in real time
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah Cinci is a renowned stupid caaaaant though
The luckier team won the game.
The first pen was given by the ref as soon as it happened
VAR cheated for England - France won though
the first pen was given by the ref you reeetaaaa ds

Yes
I don’t think we looked like scoring from open play much and France scored two, so no complaints. France were just a bit more clinical…

Why has he subed Saka?

It’s over mate your steam is way behind
France played like they were on strike and still won.
Subbing Saka was a big mistake.
Roy Keane is right: overall, England were the better than. No shame in that at all tonight.

For a team so dominant no real goal scoring chances from open plan

Told you fools, Southgate is a chit manager.
All the talent in the world yet the team can't control games and sustain attacking threat.
If France didn't look so suicidal at the back this would have been comfortable for them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which fools are you talking about here? I haven't seen many Southgate apologists on this thread.

Think he was struggling slightly with an injury. Otherwise, yes. Looked dangerous every time he got it.

Nah really.....Sterling did nothing when he came on
Anyway, now the tournament can be enjoyed
Saka playing brilliantly at the time causing the French all kinds of problems, showing no signs of being tired or injured, comes off for Sterling who not only has had a poor tournament and missed a few days of the training etc too, but has had a poor season overall and shown no form coming into the tournament.
