Obviously I didn't see the game, but I know your views are realistic.
I'm pleased for Boaz Myhill that he's doing well with his extended run in the team.
As for Mulumbu, he gets my goat for not killing the ball dead with his first touch to get it under control - it bounces all over the place, and it's a wonder why the coaches haven't corrected this.
Thought Mulumbu was brilliant other than over doing it once or twice.
Agree with the rest of your ratings.
3 points is all that matters for me today.

Thought Mulumbu played ok today.
Long was very quiet, still think he needs more time in the team.
Brunt played good with two assists.
Shame about Jones, been a revelation this season.
Congrats on the 3 points lads !

Ratings are about right although I'd say Morrison was worse than Brunt today.
We lacked any cohesion throughout the the whole team today and McAuley, Berahino and Sess were probably the only players who mustered more than 6/10.
You could tell after about 5 minutes that it was going to be a terrible game. Shhit game of football to watch in shhit conditions. As JH said...3 points and job done.
How did Birmingham do against Charlton yesterday, and how's their promotion push going? Maybe blueinbarca could let us know.
It certainly wasn't pretty.
I didn't think Mulumbu was the worst on show, that allocade goes to Long, for me. The guy has the touch of a baby elephant and must frustrate the hell out of his team mates and SC.
So thats Anelka and Long on SC's list of 'things to do'...
Long is lacking confidence, just needs some time on the pitch and it will come back.
With the sulk, he is just past it and no longer any good at this level
Long is finished at the club IMO, we have better players than him to play up front, and he hasn't been the same since the transfer negotiations began last year. If we can recoup what we paid for him in January, or more, then I am pretty sure our scouts can pull out a replacement quite easily. I get the impression Long is trying to be a bit like Robbie Keane, his form dropped every time his transfer negotiations started as he was happy to move to get his wage increase and signing on fee, or to stay and get an improved contract.
I honestly can't remember Longs last good game for us, he huffs and puffs, but over the last twelve months has had very little end product, and I don't think he is naturally suited to playing as the lone forward.
I see the rumour about Berahino possibly getting an England call-up for the upcoming friendlies...we need to get that contract in place ASAP!
