@garythegooner56 we was very very close in the Summer Gary. We could of had him. There was a but tho.
Doubted him all summer but he did get the Ozil news before anyone, somehow.
Lewandowski seems a better option, though.
It's obvious that Luis is a gooner at heart, his miss confirmed. Didn't want to score against his future club.
Welcome to Arsenal Luis

"No one wants the source fired"
This is BS. Why would Geoff then reply and endorse the tweet from @lordhillwood if he wants to detach himself from the suarez rumour? Answer that.
Do you reckon we would have got Suarez had Liverpools Diego Costa bid been accepted?
might aswell give you the league should it happen
Probably. L0serpool are skint.
We will win the league with or without him. If Suarez wants a league winners medal than he should join.
The 'but' was champions league football I think. By the time we qualified Liverpool were probably never gonna sell that late.
I hope we qualify for cl next round and are still top or thereabouts by the time we go in for him again in jan.
Having said that, just imagine Giroud and Suarez playing together. Not sure if it would happen if he signed but I think it would be frightening.
I think if Liverpool are still in with a title shout they'll hold off till summer, but if they slide down the table he'll probably force a move, whether that's to us or Madrid we'll see.
Can't see Liverpool collapsing, though, they'll probably be top four at least in the new year.
Liverpool have Sturridge who is world class
We would be sorted with Suarez on the mid/for front. Just need another fourth choice centre back that can fill in when injuries inevitably happen.
No chance they can sustain being at the top by January. Hopefully they are out of contention for fourth spot as well.
What would your Arsenal formations be if Suarez signed?
Same formation but drop Giroud for Suarez.
Not a prayer of you getting him in January. No chance.
Liverpool's season would fall apart on the back of it and as much as that scenario would please me as a United fan, it isn't going to happen.
Next summer.....maybe. No chance in jan though.
I actually don't think you'll buy anybody in January.

I think you'd be missing out on the combination the two could have. I think Suarez is capable of playing on the left of a trio with Ozil and Cazorla, all behind Giroud. Just think that would be insane. Sure, you couldn't have Walcott, but it's all interchangeable depending on the opponents.

Wenger himself said this summer that we lack numbers up front, he even tried to sign Ba on TDD, shows his desperation. He'll definitely try. Whether it will come off is a different matter altogether.

Suarez is the last piece of Wenger master piece puzzle. Once we get him, you other fans should be afraid!
Yeah agree depends on opponents but for big matches only Suarez for me.
Ramsey, Ozil and Cazorla have to play. As does Flamini/Arteta.
That leaves two places for either Giroud, Suarez, Podolski, Walcott, Wilshere, Rosicky, Ox, Bendtner or Park (just kidding with the last two).
With Suarez we are covered in midfield/attack for the next 3/4 seasons.
