I agree, we (unlike rangers) have a big squad, so why risk players when we have players of similar quality (maloney, mccourt, ki, matthews, forrest) who are desperate to get game time and show the manager what they can do.
Dundee Utd at home should be easy enough with a few bench players
Would rather rest wilson, commons, kayal and brown so that they dont niggle any injuries. With our squad we should only be playing 100% fit players unless we are totally stuck.
I would put chuck at LB
Ledley at CM with Ki
Maloney at LM With Forrest at RM
In fact swap Maloney with Paddy
Hopefully we can get some game time for maloney this season and he can keep bloomin fit!
On his day when hes fit he is possibly the best winger in scotland.
Dont see lenny goin for 2 wingers
I would play Mccourt: but I would advise everyone to calm down. Dundee United are a good team and as they proved last year they are more than capable of taking a point off us at home.
still slightly worried as these 3 were probably our key men end of last season. We have good back up but kayal will definitley be missed
I would agree with Henrik on this, lets not get carried away, its early season and Dun, Utd are not to be taken lightly, potential banana skin.
I don't know where the thought that DundeeUtd. will be easy beat came from, I think they'll be anything but, don't forget what happened to us last season at home against them.
Agree we shouldn't play anyone not fit, that's thw hole point of the squad isn't it?
Goalkeeper: Lukasz Zaluska
RB: Mark Wilson/ Adam Matthews
CB: Kelvin Wilson
CB : Daniel Majstorovic
LB: Charlie Mulgrew
RM: James Forrest
CM: Ki Sueng-Yueng
CM: Victor Wanyama/ Joe Ledley
LM: Paddy Mccourt
ST: Gary Hooper
ST: Anthony Stokes
Im not saying that they will be easy to beat but im just confident in the guys the can/will be brought in.
Really dont see more than 1 winger starting. it has been proven that we are best with the 3 cm's inn midfield. having said that whoever starts at LB will not be as attacking as Izzy so maybe this will warrant 2 wingers, we will see
sounds like Brown and Commons can play, with Kayal a major doubt
