Despite the 'who said what etc etc etc', maybe it was just a simple case of a world class player wanting to challenge and hopefully win some silverware?
And he did.

He won't be winning any more trophies, that's for sure. Not with that average squad or with Moyes.

RapistVP stabbed Arsene right in the heart. Sccccum
I wonder what will the boy in him say at the end of the season
Going a little off topic here, but the in-house fighting we have had recently on the Arsenal board can be summed up by Wenger quite clearly in one of the quotes you've provided.
“Some players saw the other big clubs buying world named players and of course they lost a little bit of confidence that we can compete with them. It's understandable."
Clearly Wenger see's it as understandable from a players point of view and bears no grudge. So why is it that some fans, can't seem to understand that other fans also lost confidence in the club?
Because they're stupid, that's why.
Anyway, as far the RVP saga, I don't think we'll here any legitimate reasoning behind his move whilst he is still a United player. When he finally leaves, only then will he be genuine in his reasons for leaving Arsenal.
Rvp can go F himself the tittt.
the only thing worth note was this "Flamini I am quite confident will be fully available".
Robin Van Persie, i don't give 2 sheits, he can rot.

At the time most people could understand his decision, although quite a lot didn't agree with it. It was a short-term option, but he is 30 years old. How long will he have left at United? I'll give it another 2 years and then he'll be gone. In his career, he'd only won a community shield and an FA Cup. Both of which were right at the start of his Arsenal career. I didn't like the fact that he wanted to go to United, but I understood why - glory.
And let's be honest, if someone had to said to him a year later, we'd have signed Mesut Ozil, we'd be top of the league by 5 points and United would be languishing in 8th, who would have believed that?
I hope Man United realize that their domination of the PL era is over when we batter them on Sunday, I hope that RVP will be watching when we lift the league at the end of the season and gives birth to the little boy inside him.
It seems the United fans have piped down a little bit now that they have realized their squad is average as well as their manager.
Wenger is a classy man he's not like fergie willing to rip players up.
Maybe in his book he will tell the whole story. Either way RVP is a massive cūnt.
Rvp joined Utd cos of fergie now hes gone
Hopefully we can bring him back to Arsenal one day. Legend.

@Tiki...................I'd be a tad more cautious with your predictions bud. Who'd have thought, after 'the invincibles' etc, that AFC would be in their 9th season without a cup of any sort?
Predictions are great when they come to fruition. But when they don't................................

I wonder what RVP is literally thinking though? He is probably drooling at the fact at what could of been, him playing in front of Cazorla, Ozil and Rosicky instead of Clevery and co.

Pipe down boy, focus on not getting relegated.
I'd have the player back but not the person

Manchester United fans are very quiet today, shows that they are hiding and have already admit defeat to the Mighty Arsenal.
