Always been impressed how he can past player like they are not even there but then, can't make the right decision or finish.
If you take a look closely, you'd see that most of the goal he scored were then no other team mate was around and the only option he had was to go for it himself.
But as soon as he has options in from of him, he always chose the wrong one.

He also was playing good before coming to Arsenal...

Rudi Garcia is the reason for the turn around in fortunes for Gervinho.

It does help having creative talents such as Totti and Pjanic in the team as well.

for clarity its not my work here but i agree about everything he said. you can say gervinho is a wild flower, if you dont treat it how you should it will bow to the side and die, or if you feed it water and nourishment then you tasty sweet fruits and berries.

Worst football I ever watched (live) for Arsenal.

I was quite surprised when we sold him. He was a borderline world-class player and Wenger should have given him one or two more years. I know we had a glut of creative players (esp. with the addition of Ozil) but you find ways to keep that kind of talent.

People can talk about confidence all they like, but repeatedly failing to control a ball under little or nor pressure when you are a professional footballer is not a confidence issue. It's a 'not being very good at football' issue.

The boy has the talent just not the confidence to play at a big club like Arsenal..Roma is a perfect fit

Someday, that's true, but if he's achieving those things at other teams then it is surely worth considering, no?
