This is the funny thing. Ronaldo finished the 11/12 season very strongly and at that stage was definitely favorite to win the Ballon D'Or. Unfortunately for him, Messi found a new gear at the start of the following system and broke the goal record, which won him the award. Don't think anybody could argue that he was a worthy winner.

So why on earth are people arguing Ronaldo is now the worthy winner? He has been the best individual this season. He has kept himself fit, he has scored when it matters, he has scored the most goals, he has scored consistently over the year. Apparently it's his fault the Madrid conceded 4 in Dortmund but Messi can be excused for the 7 goal dismantling Barca suffered at the hands of Bayern because he wasn't 100% fit

It is beyond embarrassing the lengths people will go through to defend Messi. Just accept it, he hasn't been the best this year. Not even close. How can people argue otherwise?! It's hilarious.

What I found most hilarious however, was at the beginning of this thread, where they were all calling you a "Ronaldo Fanboy", for providing stats, and an argument, that they literally had zero change of countering, while they made excuse, after excuse, and then some more excuses on top of those, to make a stupidly, pathetic, argument for Messi.

Firstly, allow me to apologise for being a tad bit obnoxious, but i don't see how you can simply level that blame at me, as even after every single point you had made, had been countered, you'd just go and remake the exact same point, in different wording, how did you expect me to react? You were acting like a spoilt, little child, failing to comprehend even the simplest of points.
