Why would you want Ki when we have Mulgrew?
Not too bothered about Ki to be honest.
We had better midfielders at the club at the time and he was often anonymous in the big games.
That's exactly what I mean
Mulgrew's a good player and better defensively but Ki's a step up in every other department. Better range, sets the tempo better, more intricate, more patient and more intelligent.
Ki was better than everyone bar Wanyama, for me. Just wasn't a hoof it and rush merchant. He was top class in his last season and a half for us.
Did ki ever have a good OF game?
He was good in the 1-0 shame game I think. I agree Kayal in terms of ability Ki was one of our best cm's however the way we play in Europe I can see why he was sold. The problem is though Celtic haven't replaced him.
Andy. Agree he didn't fit our style, but we always played better football with him in the team and he would help us a lot in Europe now.
There's a reason its only he and Wanyama have got PL moves.

He has been a flop at swansea! Shunted out to lowly sunderland
Won a cup at swansea and they've not been doing to well since they sent him on loan. Sunderland are starting to get going now

Fack i dont remember him have such influence in scotland
That's usually the sign of a good player, not being good in Scotland
Means they can actually play decent football and not hoofball pash
Ki is a quality player. Too tidy for the SPL.

Ki played 30 games for Swansea last season, as the deepest lying midfielder and at centre half in the Cup final (scary thought ), not really his job to get goals.
He's been the one taking the ball deep and setting the tempo in a Pirlo kind of role for Swansea and Sunderland.
