I am concerned that City are only 7 points ahead of such a poor team
Not poor mate, just funny #353
I'm concerned that 200 + million pounds worth of players couldn't beat a team that cost nothing.
Oh wait I support manchester not United
Everything was against us the pitch the referee, oh dear he's getting philoshofical again.
Concerned yet stretty?
I would be more concerned if we were 7 points behind such a poor team, tbh.
Anyway, cup football will be returning to Old Trafford for the first time in a year, I bet the faithfull are already queueing up Chester Road for tickets.
"A little concerned" is a complete understatement if i was a United supporter at this moment.
"Massively concerned" would be more apt.
The club or more importantly the team is totally rudderless and it's becoming clearer that Van Gaal and his philosophy is just bulsh!t.
Another manager change is imminent this summer, top four or not.
Concerning times indeed.
Where is stretty I'm concened he's self harming after that result.
The thread that never dies!
Aside from Uniteds issues, that was the absolutely perfect result for Cambridge. The money they will earn from the replay will effectively keep them going and help them develop the stadium.
Incredibly chivalrous behaviour by lvg...
Their wage bill a year is one month of wages for Falcao
Stretty where are you, come out to plaaaayaaaaaaay
If I was massively concerned about a particular team i would certainly be very corcerned for the team only 7 points ahead of them....
I am very happy with our manager and i think i speak for the majority of our fans.
I think it's a different story over on the other side though, can't be too many that are pleased with progress under Van Gaal.
Put it this way any of the current top eight teams managers would be playing better football whilst still getting results than lvg is doing at this time with the players he has to choose from.
Then again what can you do when it seems absolutely everything is against them.
"If I was massively concerned about a particular team i would certainly be very corcerned for the team only 7 points ahead of them...."
That's kind of the point this thread is still going to be fair saf. If only SE had had the same thought process...
I am not going to defend the original decision to write the article certainly.
From memory it was fairly early days and everything was still a bit up in the air with all kinds of surprising results.
Its quite similar to those posters who write an article wumming a team when they are 1-0 down half way in.
Can't say I am too worried with regards to LVG, I am not spectacularly impressed but I don't like to judge a manager too quickly or harshly. If there aren't improvements made over the next couple of years then I will judge harshly.
I'd like our football to be a bit better but we are on target for a top 4 finish which was our aim this season, so no huge complaints from me ATM but I am a bit more patient than most...
Agree with all of that saf.
I like to analyse our performances and they have been far better then under Moyes. We are dominating possession and controlling the game and conceding very few chances on our goal usually. Its just our attackers can't hit a barn door when presented with chances especially away from home that has cost us many points and wins.
Are you concerned though?
Nope like I said our great performance stopped a shock upset, Man city Chelsea Tottenham Southampton didn't defend well and are knocked out. If anything our performance against Cambridge Utd was one of our most professional displays this season.

The question is.. Where are you?
Don't worry guys, I hear getting too excited a bit prematurely can happen to men of a certain age
Surely in the context of this thread there's nothing premature about anything? In fact isn't that again a bit ironic given the op...?
Wouldn't the people taking the mick out of someone for getting excited prematurely getting excited prematurely on the very same article be pretty much textbook irony?
I'm here, I was out with the wife last night Arab, I didn't think she would appreciate me using a mobile phone in the cinema an restraunt.
It would if that was what was happening, it isn't though. People are taking the mick out of the op creating an article asking why we aren't concerned when his own club wasn't in a position of strength to do so. That's still the case now, regardless of our result.
If a city fan had created an article yesterday asking if you were concerned and then we lost, that would be ironic. Not in this case as it is responses to the op. All about the context.
Don't use words like context Melton you will confuse them.
