Do you realise thar City had more goals attempts in the first 30 minutes at the Emirates this evening than United had in their last 3 games.

Using your formula for football, City had 63% possesion, 20 goal attemps of which 8 were on target.

Therefore we won.

There were some local church services going on around the same time I believe... bad timing I guess...

Boris our attempt figures have been through the roof recently but lack of goals still remain. If we were better at corners we would have even a lot more.

This month Man City managed 44 shots in PL and 20 shots in a CL home match. Man Utd managed 43 shots in PL and 18 shots in a CL away match. Not to different I say.

I'd be interested to see those stats again in Feb.

In November Man City in PL 3 matches managed 40 shots and in 2 CL matches managed 35 shots.

Man Utd in 3 PL matches managed 36 shots and in 2 CL matches managed 28 shots. Considering Man City are one of the leading attacking teams the difference in shots is very little and we usually take the most passes before we shoot so our shots for is only this high as we attack the majority of games.

I reckon in the last 2 months we had the biggest gap between shots for and against us and we are classed as the negative team Rant over. The media always seem to slate us for being negative when we create the most chances.
