I've voted for Zlatan v England. It gets better everytime I see it.

That Louisa gal. She gets my vote every time.

Zlatan's hands down. OP Neymar technique was out of this world for his goal hence chosen.
But zlatan was just totally insane.
I guess Kasami and Wilshere's goal will be in contention next year?

well Kasami's will

If Ibrahimovic's clearance into an empty net wins this it'll be a joke

Has to be Ibra's, simply brilliant.

I'd have Peter Ankersen second, what a volley

Absolutely right, can't think of any other player that would have even tried that, let alone get it right.

Clearance into an empty net?! Just goes to show, you can't please all of the people all of the time.

damn right, Cristiano Ronaldo would have bought the ball down, turned and blasted the ball 15 yards over the bar, and Messi would have bought the ball down and tried to chip the keeper and failed

There are more goals on that list than spurs have scored in the league this season!

Neymar for me. He hit that volley with his toe, cutting across it to get that swerve. Unreal.

Actually i'll give it to Zlatan. Never screamed at a goal other than an Arsenal one so much.

But Neymars was more difficult.

The Mexican one over the half way line, with the keeper to beat, for me but it'll never win.

I'm no good with scarcasm over the internet so I can't tell whether you're agreeing or insinuating that the two finest players in world football would also have attempted what Ibra did?

If that latter then, amazing players as they are, I really don't think they would have tried that. They would probably have brought the ball down and headed directly for goal. Ibra doesn't have the pace or dribbling skills for that but he sure can improvise.

Ibrahimovic did amazingly to get it in the general vicinity of the goal but I'd mark the goal down slightly for a) the part the keeper played in giving him the opportunity and leaving the net unguarded and b) the fact that there was an element of hit and hope about it. There was no way he was controlling exactly where the ball went.

Generally, I love the way it is so transparent how the committee comes up with these lists. It's a though they have a checklist of:

- Goals by very famous players
- Goals that got quite a lot of attention during the year
- Token goals not scored in Europe or internationals
- Token goal(s) scored by a woman

Neymar's strike is lovely but I don't reckon it would be in the selection if Neymar hadn't scored it. Much easier to time a shot like that after it has bounced.
