We are pathetic at one day cricket and for some reason we are at the top at T20 cricket. This T20 series is no different though to the one day series where we must bat first.

As much as I don't like Hafeez he is a more forward thinking skipper but if rumours are right that both Tanvir and Amin will play today

Razzaq could be promoted when needed but Afridi remains at 8. These days he more entertaining to watch on cricinfo than on a TV stream

Apparently rumours are right and misbah will step down as captain, but will not retire. New captain for Lanka series by the looks of it.

Is that for both one day and test's? Who is taking over?

Hafeez himself has a lot to do to justify his selection in the team.

Amir is normally camp Misbah but he's had no activity since August on JA606. Wonder if he is ok

Update- misbah won't travel to South Africa and will be "rested" for the series....

Looks like Misbah has been put on gardening leave. I think it's good to rest him and see if others step up but no doubt we will pick the usual failures with Hafeez who can't bat as skipper

dont understand why we have rehman, ajmal, afridi, hafeez and malik. as well as irfan, tanvir, razzaq.

why have 5 spinners? surely leave rehman out and bring in another batsman to protect our feeble batting line up which will always crack.

i swear these guys pick the team out of a hat.

Jamshed for Tanvir any day of the week and Junaid for Rehman.

- Grandad Razzaq
- Hafeez as opener

This team is a disaster waiting to happen and no bowler who can bowl at the death
