The 3 points they get at home to Spurs could be the points that keep them up
Articles like this make me want West Ham to stuff you home and away this season.

Its the constant drivel from mafia which drove them to this in fairness...
As unpopular as he is I think big Sam is too good to take West Ham down they do however look like they are going to have a very unimpressive season.
Going down like Mafs mamma
Jay, have a look at mafia's posting history and you'll start to see why
s won't go down (unfortunately ), simple truth is there are alot of teams worse than them-Palace, Norwich, Fulham, Sunderland, Cardiff, Hull
Norwich beat west ham 3-1 and outplayed them
they are a better side than norwich
Mafia is banned from the Tottenham board. Yet Tottenham 'fans' come on here and post this kind of nonsense, and then justify it by saying it's in response to Mafia winding them up.
Go figure.
myhammers
he's banned from the Spurs board but that still hasn't stopped him carrying on with his anti-Spurs tirades though!
i don't even like Spurs but even i think mafia is a sad, sad act
Oh pipe down Myhammers
This article doesn't mention maf. It's about whether your tin pot club will stay up. Pay attention
they'll battle relegation, won't go down though. they got a better team than the others i mentioned
they've alos got the manager best suited to this situation ahead of their rivals
i ain't going to say it's impossible for them to go down, i'll be pretty surprised if they do though
West Ham will go down if Allardyce remains in charge.
I used to think he was a good manager, but my opinion has drastically changed. His tactics and strategy are poor, and he favours certain players irrespective of how badly they might be playing.
Now I fully understand why Blackburn and Newcastle sacked him.
Newcastle i'll give you but Blackburn can't really argue they were better off without him!
you don't dump a manager unless you have a realistic replacement lined up who could do a better job
not that i'm any fan of fat Sam but who'd honestly be doing a better job at West Ham under the same circumstances
Blackburn were right to sack Allardyce. But they then shot themselves in the foot by appointing someone who was even worse. West Ham fans will never take to him. He's a long ball merchant who should never have left Bolt on.
I'd have liked Gus Poyet or Zola. We have a good enough squad, we simply need a manager who is not incompetent.
Zola about as close as i ever came to liking your club!
never understod that sacking, he kept you up and his reward was to be dumped for Avram Grant
Allardyce is pragmatic so should get the results, however you can't help but feel that he has completely misspent in the transfer window. There's this view that because he got Bolton a few bargains he's good in the transfer-market.
Of all the money he spent £15m was for Carroll and £5m for Downing, they're decent quality for the level West Ham are currently at, but £20m combined? That's a hefty chunk to be spending for most Premier League clubs.
But the main issue is, the problem with an Allardyce team will always be scoring goals- so he spent £15m on one run-of-the-mill striker in Carroll and then bought an ageing Fulham reject in Petric who will probably be on a good wage, and then embarrassingly had to go back for Carlton Cole.
In the previous season didn't he spend £5m on that Maiga guy too and he has got something like 4 goals?
Allardyce should know that depth is essential in the Premier League, the fact he left himself so short in quality in attack was just bad management.
Where there is sheyytt there are flies and like that where there is Moronic crap there is filthy chhav don't click.
Marcelino García Toral ,
Big Sam signed Vaz Te for less than 400k and one of the best keeper in the league, Jussi, for free. You win some and lose some...
Fans were singing for Andy Carroll to sign permanently in the previous season. And Liverpool sensed this so they didn't backed down cutting their losses on him.
Joke club like Spurs' signing 28 year old striker for 26mil didn't help any club to sign players on cheap..

it appears so. 100k a week for mandy carroll
Vaz te is decent.
Strikers are hard to comeby but it's the amount of depth quality wise, look even the bigger clubs aren't too happy with their choices but goals will be the problem for any Allardyce team as he is.good at organising.
Craig Bellamy earned 80k a week when he played for West Ham
As opposed to Adebarndoor is currently earning 130k a week sitting at home..
