For a buildiong that size, yes you would.

Especially for a controlled explosion.

I wonder why none of the witnesses claimed to hear a bloody loud set of bangs that go with explosives being let off?

Silent explosion possibly?

-----------------------

They did actually.

just do a quick search on youtube.

Fireman heard explosives going off and so did the janitor who was all over the media swearing blind he heard explosives going off.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So 2, people, out of the hundreds/thousands?

-----------------------

wow

Do you really think I only listed 2 because there were only 2 or do you think I just gave you 2 because it would make no sense listing every single person who heard explosives going off?

Use your brain.

Those types of buildings are never empty though - although I guess you could fix the employment of security guards to get your own men in position. Someone would likely have noticed, and it would have taken a while to set up

That would make a great plot for a film....

As I came up with the idea Brad Pitt will play me and Ed Norton can play you

The lazy comments from some people on here shows why governments can get away with so much.

The funny thing is whether or not 9/11 was a conspiracy, the events that followed should be as clear as day for anyone on here just how corrupt the US and UK governments have been in their foreign policies.

Half a million plus people were killed in Iraq as a result of the lies our goverments told us and certain people and companies became very rich off of that.

So by all means, use the lazy 'tin foil hat' brush off but i'd rather wear a tin foil hat than stick my head in the ground and pretend nothing shady goes on.

Admin is correct, again - lots of innocuous things cause explosions. Even in an office, there are many, many things that can go boom.

I've got an air duster for my keyboard that could do some damage. I also use it for taking dents out cars.

Say you were an agency planning it. You would be able to, years in advance, get the plans of the building, the construction materials and associated properties of the materials, and then run 1000s of simulations identifying inherent weaknesses in the structure and architecture.

..................

Come up with a ball park figure of how many, and who, would have to be 'in the know', to be able to pull this off.

Was any of these conspiracies uncovered by recent whistle blowing, out of interest?

Did Bradley Manning or the Snowden chap uncover any of this in their thousands of leaked documents.

What about another conspiracy theory. That the CIA flooded crack cocaine into poor black neighbourhoods in the 80's to destroy whole communities.

Anyone believe that?

The point is admin, the planet is run by crazed madmen who see ordinary people as pawns to sacrifice in their pursuits of self gain, money and power and we just take all the spoon feeding they can supply and told not to question.
When we do we're all conspiracy nut jobs.

We have mp's via the media telling the lower classes, there all lazy and deserve poverty and a life of c rap while they plunder the expenses at the tax payers cost, yes ordinary regular chaps like you and i.
The hypocrisy is breathtaking.

By the way, the death of Frank Olson is one case where it seems much more of a leap of imagination to conclude there was no foul play. Worth reading up on. The names Donald Rumsfeld and Cheney crop up a lot in the literature around that - they were lower grade insiders around the White House in the 70s and heavily involved in proving there was nothing to see. They worked their way to the top on the background of a very grimy period in the recent history of skulduggery (dirty wars / proxy wars / arms to contras / Watergate). They were the key foreign policy players in W's administration. They without doubt exploited 9/11 as a springboard for plans that predated it. For that reason I'm kind of open-minded about theories that there was some kind of state involvement or facilitation. Either way, what followed 9/11 is plenty enough to indict them in history.

I very much doubt anything on this scale would be 'filed' in the same areas where the lesser scandals are.

Once worked in a building that had loads of Nato restricted stuff.

Despite the security at the gate, someone managed to get their car stereo nicked from the car park and someone else who had forgot their entrance pass managed to flash a slice of toast to the guards to get into the building.

of course there is, but im sure those who heard them over the hysteria that was going on would have known the difference between a can of lynx and some other kind of big explosion.

it may have been caused by something as simple as gas.
