2 goals
Hit the crossbar
Got the MOTM award

Got a booking aswell ruling him out of the midweek game next week. Great news - more rest for the Vile game.

Berahino got booked for raising his shirt that contained the message 'RIP - Love you Dad'

the most pathetic rule ever.

12 in 13 for club & country

You watch Chelsea buy him (and why would Chelsea buy him? Answer - because they can) and he will disappear like Isaiah Brown - anyone remember him?

Would Saido be that stupid?
Surely he will have made a mental note of his old team mate who has dissapeared into the ether?

He's enjoying Prem footie atm. With Chelsea, or any of the other prima donna teams, he would have to settle for the youth 3rd string, playing training matches at Aldershot Town (which they actualy do!)

Fingers crossed his contract talks are almost sorted.

....besides, given last weeks goings on and the Izzi affair, what would be the chances of JP selling anyone to Chelsea?

I doubt if they are on his Christmas card list.

It is a worry that we have yet to secure his future with us. I so hope he appreciates how much he has flourished here and does not go for the bright lights.

We have to offer a contract that is attractive to him yet does not remove his hunger to improve himself and go as far as he can go. I'm glad that's JP's problem rather than mine.

I think Agbonlahor was ruined by offering him too much too soon and his career went backwards.

Of course I remember Izzy, he only left us a few weeks ago

I think Saido would have seen what happens to Chelsea's kids - not just Izzy, but the likes of Lukaku, McEachran, Bertrand - and will know that right now, Albion is the best club for him. He's getting PL games, PL goals, U21 starts and goals, and is being tipped as a huge star by everyone. If he moves to a bigger club, his career falls into the laps of the Gods.

Azzy, there's also Sturridge - it's unbelievable Chelsea actually sold him. If they won't keep him, Berahino would have no chance at Stamford Bridge.
Just get the lad signed up, Albion.

True. Victor Moses too, Thibault Courtois, Jeffrey Bruma, Michael Mancienne...that list is endless.

Thibault Courtois has still got a good chance of making it at Chelsea.

He's a regular for Athletico, still only 21 and Cech isn't getting any younger.

I wouldn't be surprised if TC is first choice next season!

Shaney Long followed up his goal against Chelsea with another one tonight!

Good to see the lad hitting abit of form.

On his day, which there hasn't be many of recently, he's a handful for anyone. The form he showed when he first joined and the form he showed against Chelsea, admittidley it was only one game.....could get him a new contract!

It's not looking too good atm.
We only offered him £7k a week. I'm sure I read on here that we were offering £16k a week.

Mind you, it's the Mirror so only a 50/50 chance of being true.

I don't see that being true myself.

That £7k story was out about a week ago, I read Chris L somewhere saying it was nonsense.

I've heard reports that it is between £16-£20k a week, but it needs sorting ASAP to stop the speculation.

Back from a few days in Wales and I see Saido still hasn't signed. With all this time passing by, I'm getting my doubts on him ever signing a contract with us.
You just watch one of the biggies come in and snatch him choose what happened or is happening to Izzy Brown.

West Brom striker Saido Berahino, 20, is expected to sign a new long-term deal. He has scored 12 goals for club and country this season.

England U21 star Berahino is on a deal worth £850 per week at the moment - his new contract will be slightly more lucrative... #wbafc

Speaking on 'unsigned contracts'

Steve Clarke has 7 months remaining on his deal, with no word of a new one in sight'

Not that fussed about Clarke. I think with the squad we have, the recent league standings we've posted, and the ambition Peace is starting to show, we could get a higher-calibre manager. Not fussed if he stays either though, he's done well so far. Just wish he'd smile!

Come on Saido, sign that deal
