I agree...this is the one for me.
Looked at others but not impressed enough to sign up for any of them. Glad I kept checking back here hoping you would return.
I was on not606 for a bit. Just wasnt the same.
I only realised this was back up when I saw Barry Smith's article. Cheers Baz!
I was between sportswitness and Not606. Did enjoy sports witness for the good articles but didnt seem to be enough people on it. Not606 was very confusing and the layout just wasn't as easy to navigate love Ja606 easy to use, admins seem nice and let you know whats going on. been on the old 606 for years stopped posting articles but every morning loved to have a scan and see how my fellows reds are feeling and what their thoughts are, plus you can find some really interesting stories sometimes =)
This is the best BBC look-alike.
They even got smileys up now ... if they could get the pop-up page for smileys right .... it would be perfect
I checked out new606 and not606, and their full of hostile wums. You get plenty of replies (unlike on this thing right now) to your posts, but you don't want them. There is little modding, and cyber bullying is rife,
As for 12yards, and sportswitness, they both did nothing for me.

Had 606 withdrawals.
Was checking the board of NOT 606 but was deeply unimpressed.
1. Lots of users gloating about about Ja606 being down.
2. Too much clutter - pictures and slogans etc. FYI - it doesn't make you an individual, it makes you look like a ****.
3. The completely sick after hours forums with threads on beastility and other filth.
Worst forum ever.
Not 606. Its a good side but i went on some thread and some of those pictures have scared me for life. The mods on that forum have a more relaxed way of thinking.
not606 is a good alternative and once u get used to the lay out, you'll find it actually a lot better than ja606.
I was on not606 for a bit, but there's something about the format of this site (& the original of course) that just feels right.
There is of course a huge difference between a message board and a full on forum - which is what not606 is.
I got my id on not606.
Things do seem to be a bit of a free for all.
I noted the "close article" function, and "add to ignore list" for specific users, but on the WUM front they seem to be too high maintenance.
Non-visibility of WUM postings doesn't help when they infest your articles, you don't see them, but everyone else does and feeds them.
The 606 page format lends itself far better IMHO to easily built tools that can be distributed to denizens of the Spurs board.
Now if I can just figure out how to define the CSS to colour certain parts of the page red ...
