Scottish gangster film
The Wee Man ( true story ) about Glasgow gangster Paul Ferris,no real superstars in it,but you will know John Hannah ( mummy films and Cloth ).
Excellent film...................
=======================================
If you liked that have you seen 'Small Faces'?
Great little film.

Ta mate i'll look out for it ..........
I third that. Does Drive count as Indie? Oh the latest one I saw 'Filth' top quality film based in Scotland.
-=-=-=-
Have you heard the soundtrack to that film..? God it's good!
I'm actually a massive soundtrack geek as it goes!
As someone already mentioned The Constant Gardener is brilliant.
Not a movie but anyone ever watch Love/Hate? It's an irish show but it's pretty class. It's on primewire.ag if anyone's bored

"The Running Man"
What an entertaining film. So bad it's good, pure 100% entertainment, not because the film is any good, but because it's so bad that it's good. I laugh all the way through that film. My favorite moment is when they introduce Sub-Zero as Professor Sub-Zero!
I refused to have anything to do with the Hunger Games when I heard she'd claimed to have never heard of Battle Royale - either Takami's original novel or the subsequent movie. Suzanne Collins worked in the media for how many years, yet claims to have never heard of it? Yeah right. However I since relented and read the first book. It's actually really good, but I still don't believe her claims that it's entirely original.

One of the best sound tracks ever. Everything is so Indie about it.
I heard that filth film is rubbish man, try and find only god forgives its drive 2
Anyone tried any Russian movies? The Interceptor and Night Watch are pretty good.
I would say more retro than Indie... But a prolific soundtrack none the less
My Cousin Vinny is a great film 1man

Killing Them Softly, nice slow pace well acted gangster drama. Pitt's line at the end "America ain't a country. Its a Business" for me very much captures the current Zeitgeist of criminal capitalism
yeah I see that Choice! Top film!
For individual scenes you can't beat the 'dentist' sequence from 'Marathon Man'.
'Is it safe?'
