That chip of his was obviously very heavy

There will always be the question mark of how often "injury" prevented him from letting the gloves do the talking, when he finally ran out of voice.

Sad news, just about the last exciting heavyweight about.

Lot of eyes gonna be turning to Joshua now.

Don't get me wrong, I think he could and would have beaten Fury, had the fight taken place, but it's all a wee bit embarrassing when you run your mouth as much as he does and always has an injury to protect his ego.

I think it would have been a great fight, for the 3 rounds it would have lasted. Shame Haye will probably retire now but if that's what he has been told by the doctors then that's what he's got to do.

He obviously bottled it

posted on 17/11/13

Yes he ended his career and said no to a 5 million pound pay day rather than fight Fury

posted on 17/11/13

Haye, bottle it?! Come on!!! He has no form for that sort of thing at all

posted on 17/11/13

He'll make as much through being a motormouth in the media and other endorsements over the coming months.

He's gonna be the next guvnor of the Queen Vic, Walford

I'll bet my account on here against yours that Haye doesn't get a £5 million endorsement deal by February.

And I'll bet that he will make more than that through avoiding potential defeat and running his mouth over a slightly longer period of time. If he lost to fury, that would finish him commercially. Given that it was likely to be his last fight, it was a risk worth dodging.

It wasn't going to be his last fight

posted on 17/11/13

Wasn't it? Oh yeah, he said he'd have other fights. He was going after the Ukrainians again. He said he was. And David haye doesn't blow hot air

Never heard anything has stupid in my life

You honestly believe he will make more than £5m outside the ring because he doesn't take this fight

What planet are you on

I honestly think he will make more long term than he would have made through taking that fight. Given his charisma, given his showmanship, he's a ready made promoter. And that's where the big big money is.

The only winner out of all this is Fury. No doubt he will infactuate some sort of story.

As for Haye. He was a top cruiser but despite winning heavyweight title it was a unfulfilled journey.

Undisputed cruiserweight champion and former world heavyweight champion. First British fighter to win silver at World Amateur champions. Arguably second best cruiser ever after Holyfield. Not bad for someone who just talked according to you. Now fack off you Manc clown. You talk drivel on both boxing and football boards. Clueless in both sports.

Sick of losers like you who achieved nothing in your life so your bitter towards hardworking talented people like Haye who earned their success.

How is fury the winner? He's lost 4/5 million.

Yep the only reason why the Fury's are gutted. Now we will have to listen to more nonsense from them and their delusional fans.
