Mini messi - bloody ell how tall is he???
Hate it when players get likened to the very best players. Very very rarely do they become any good. In fact i wouldnt be surprised in 5 yrs time we will have forgotten all about him and is still plying his trade in scotland
I agree with the sentiment about how a young player will be the next so and so etc - it rarely works out, because such great players are so rare in the first place. And it puts a crazy amount of hype around a young kid.
i've seen him first hand. the messi tag does the boy no favours but he mosts definitely has talent. i'd hoped we'd buy him first to get him used to playing for a big club before he heads abroad or down the road
one thing's for sure. the boy will be a star
Never seen him myself, but I have friends from Dundee who say he has the world at his feet.
Apparently he is touted as a 'mini Messi'.

Annooooyyyyiiiiiiiinnnnnnggggggg
According to Google, he is 4cm shorter than Lionel Messi. Having said that, he is 17 so he may still have one big growth spurt in him.
He's incredible. The best young Scottish player I've ever seen.
When you see him he looks like a wee boy, but he plays like a man. He has fantastic technique, great vision, great movement and, just as importantly, great workrate.
He has that rare gift of always being able to be in space and can shift the ball to keep posession despite his slight frame.
The players at United are already talking about how they'll be telling their grandkids that they played alongside him and that tells you how highly he's thought of.
Having said all that, please don't buy him.
I doubt we will even buy him, otherwise surely we would just do it and keep the whole thing quiet. Also read today that Hughes will leave Derby for Anfield. He was the best player in the championship and we went and bought Zaha who has not had a kick and seems to prefer nightclubs, smoking and women !!!
"seems to prefer nightclubs, smoking and women !!!"
Him and I have more in common than I thought
Concerning Gauld Ivan knows more about him than most on here and I can only agree with what he posted
Boy is gonna be a star, no doubt, never seems hurried, and always finds 2yrds of space
Is he left footed? On Football Manager he is. I've not seen him play so no idea. If he is, it will be helpful to have another left footer in the team.
He is left footed although he's strong on his right too.
He doesn't play on the left though (or certainly it's not his best position). He is far more suited to a central position.
He's mince.
Armpit Utd are just using their printing connections to manipulate the meedjah, ultimately get google-eye cheque-book manager to fund their chairmans love of poppers and Thai food.
I was at the game back in September last year when he came on v Ross County, think that was his home debut, and the fans were laughing at him cos he looked literally about 8 years old. I can only see him getting older though as time goes by.

How are you anyway Barry? Dees coming up this year?
Unless he's Benjamin Button and he's actually 79.
We are playing Raith in the play offs Ivan. Also we are playing them in the cup next weekend at the same time united play Killie. Both at home. Any idea what is happening with that?
United are playing on the Friday night. Not sure why Dundee got first pick, probably their turn.
I still think Dundee might get automatic promotion. Hamilton will have a blip and Dundee might be able to take advantage.
