Loving the cricket, you sound like the Aussies have won the ashes back after playing well for three days.

I love the Ashes, nothing like it for me....saving like mad to travel down next time for the boxing day test

Where else would you have songs like this

I'm enjoying it Viduka, it's great to see decent sport in fine weather.

Can't say I'm overly keen with the way this one is panning out, but let's be honest, it's only one game in a series. There's time for the Aussies to collapse yet...!

It's going to be a great Ashes.

The rugby has been great, League and Union. Tremendous sport this year.

Did you go Eric? Went to Twickers, excellent game against the Roos.

Sadly no, restricted due to other matters. Watched a few on the box though.

I am with Arouna Jagielka I want to see the Ashes out there.

I have been to The Gabba, sadly it was not on a day a game was on, I went there for a meeting with work. Tremendous stadium. The day after we visited they had a State of Origin Game, but we couldn't get tickets.

Was the Aussie phrase "ripper" something to do with their ancestor from Yorkshire?

Hoping for a great series. Not sure we can repeat the performance of the last 3 days over 5 tests. Our batting line up is very ordinary at best. Time will tell

Time will tell indeed.

(And that's a best bitter, not some of that namby pamby stuff they call beer out there, we've got water stronger than that. And it's a pint, not a schooner...!!!)

England have got huge problems

Cooks in poor nick
Carberry not good enough
Trott, they've got his number
Root, looks nervous
Swann, pitches won't suit
Tremlett, will struggle to get ten wickets all series

Going to take some pulling round this series

Let's hope the players aren't so morbidly defeatist eh..?

England to retain the Ashes. Giving them a head start will make for a livelier contest.......

Who's defeatist ????

Anyone who knew about cricket, knew this was going to be a hard series

It's pathetic, we won the ashes 2 months ago!!!!!!

Isn't it a good job Mr McDermott seems to know a bit more about a player than one or two of our contributors on this site...??

This is the time to use 3 laughing smileys!
This sad dimwit above said the same when Grayson & Warnock was manager, clearly just hoping one of them finally sticks after years of getting things hopelessly wrong.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day & dimwit is legging far behind that!

Well done Australia.

Time for England to re-group and show a bit of mettle in the next test.
