Those two could have been our strike force for a decade, hopefully at least Lukaku lives up to that and isn't pushed out by our deluded board the way Sturridge was.
And what did you think of Lukaku's performance in the first half when the game wasn't stretched and he struggled to do anything of note with his back to the goal like how he'd play most games at Chelsea?
Marco van Ginkel
---------------------------
He missed a fantastic chance in the first half - that didn't effect his self confidence and in the second half he nearly won it for Everton.
Our striker can barely get a shot on goal some matches
He almost nearly lost it for them when he missed countless chances and bottled a simple pass when Everton had 4 against 2 defenders which subsequently nearly allowed Liverpool to score on the counter so he's not this amazing striker that would have won us 5 extra games by now that people think he is
By that logic Suarez looses more points for Liverpool than he gains because like Lukaku he misses tons of chances he creates for himself.
No because Suarez is just an amazing footballer whereas Lukaku struggles to do anything meaningful with his back to goal like he'd playing 90% of the time for us
Do you want to look up how many minutes Lukaku has played for us and stop with your deluded comments
What's Ba's record like for us after banging in goals for Newcastle and is he a first choice for us?
Agree with MVG
Although I'm happy for Lukaku, made the right choice moving and playing every game, and looks certain to go world cup and probably even be first choice striker for Belgium.
Will come back an even more confident and hungry player next season and hopefully would have improved on his weaknesses that MVG has picked out.
