No chance with Klopp, wouldn't mind seeing Klinsmann back at the Lane.

Way too premature. Levy backed AVB in the transfer market more than he ever did Redknapp, so he clearly has faith in him. Don't think we should be too knee-jerk after one terrible, terrible performance. We had this sort of performance under Jol and Harry, too. If we're languishing in mid-table and haven't won anything by the end of the season, then questions can be asked.

It's easy to forget, in all the hysteria, that we had our record points last year and the best start to a Premier League season this year. It's worrying at the moment, but things may very well turn around. We may well finally beat Man Utd next week.

This reminds me of the reactions to England's massive collapse in the cricket. Sack em all, they're all rubbish, etc, etc. Too much short-termism.

Mancini at Galatasaray, surely he wouldn't leave after recently joining?

Even if we were talking managers, why not talk about someone from a high profile CL team.

Athletico's Manager would work wonders for you and so would Frankfurt's because of how well they did.

I would love to see Harry Redknapp in charge.

Having said that, I'd take Klopp, although he'd never come. Klinsmann too, and he'd have the fans instantly on side. You'd also expect a more attacking style of football.

Hoddle..

no way it'd go that long.

he'll be given a few games to turn it round, but if he cant - after weve spent all that money - he'll be out.

the players weve bought may make dalglish look like alex ferguson, but the buck stops with him all the same.

Laudrup would be the best choice.

I'll have a Klinsman please Bob

Klopp for me if I had to pick but that's unrealistic so we need to get behind Avb.

Not entirely sure why anyone better than AVB would want to come tbh.

I would have Hoddle back like a shot, if the worse comes to the worse.

Sandy i would have hoddle back tomorrow

My comment last week about looking to change avb doesn't look so bizarre now does it? We are showing no sign of change or improvement questions have to be asked.

I would like Pocettino or diego simeone but we would go for De Boer of Ajax.

Make no mistake though Tim Sherwood is the caretaker designate should anything happen and that drives me insane!

In Tim I trust

I know you're talking about managers here but this is the most recently updated article and I don't wanna talk to myself

Just been to the gym and as I was trying to fathom today's result out, one thing kept cropping up in my mind, and I'm not sure what the answer is or if there is even an answer.

Remember the days we kept giving chances to Defoe/Pav/Keane and they scored about 1 in 10. Literally everyone said if we had a predatory penalty box striker who can score 20 or more goals a season we would be so much better.

Well apparently now we have one, what's changed?
