They are all jealous, simple as that, the future is claret & blue!
Deserved to win
If you think playing for 30 Mins at the end means you deserved to win so be it.
You should have been 5 down before you even scored you troll,
We missed 2 open goals and on another day would have been smashed if it was not for Sess having an off day,
As we are about to enter 2014 you have not beaten WBA since 2010.
Stop living in the past dumbass
Give it another season or so, and we'll really see the benefit of the clear-out we've had. Not all our young players will make it, but I'm confident a lot will. The teams with future problems include baggies and spurs. Spurs have spent £110m but you look at the team and squad and it's not good enough to get even where they were last season. Same with baggies; last season was a high, but they had Lukaku on loan, and this season mid-table is best they can hope for. For all the ups and downs we've had I think overall we're going for the up.
Since our first 2 home games this season we have just lost once away at Liverpool,
Yep i can see we are going to have loads of problems
Still get fantastic away support, Hawthorns did sound like VP on Monday

silent for 70 minutes.
Celebrated the final whistle like you'd won the league. Again.
4 years & counting.
Glad to see WBA, managed to get more than the crowd they had earlier in the season, less than 9000 😉. Fickle bunch, then again it was their cup final.
"Why can't people leave us alone?"
Might be an idea not to post this on the Albion board you attention-seeking numbskull!

2-0 and you faccked it up!
You facked up the first half, we facked up the second.
Big deal!
Even possession, Villa with more shots on and off target.
They may have mainly occured later on, but stragical move from Lambert when his original planwasn't working swung it for Villa and could have won the game.
It bodes well that we're getting points despite Benteke not scoring or playing well at the moment. Once he starts firing on all cylinders again we'll be a threat, and with N'Zogbia due back in a few weeks to add some creativity there's a sense of optimism that I haven't had for a while. These are our games up to Christmas:
.Sunderland (home)
.Southampton (away)
.Fulham (away)
.Man Utd (home)
.Stoke (away)
.Crystal Palace (home)
.Swansea (home)
I would expect us to get at least 10 points from those seven games, which would put us on 25 points at the halfway stage. I actually think we'll beat Sunderland, Palace and Fulham, draw with Stoke and Swansea and lose to Utd and Southampton, which would give us 11 points.
Either way I'm sure we'll be comfortable at Christmas this year which makes a refreshing change from the last couple of years.
Yes totally agree villa1987, things are definetley moving in the right direction.
Lambert said prior to the West Ham game we were playing against teams around us, so judge after these results.
So far West Ham (a) 1 point
Cardiff (h) 3 points
Baggies (a) 1 point
With games against Sunderland & Fulham coming up we could be over 20 points by early December.
Lambert is doing a great job

The overwhelming majority of your shots were from distance. We carved out 4 or 5 clear cut chances. Either team could've won it. The game ebbed and flowed. It doesn't matter who was better in which half. It was a draw, end of!

Look a bit further back and it wasn't quite so good though was it JH
You are doing well at the moment but remember that relegation trapdoor flaps for you on a regular basis Boing Boing

Hows Hutton doing anyway guys?

As well as Soldado and Lamela but at a considerably less cost.
Great result at home to Sunderland lads
Sunderland battered 'em as well > LOL
What a team
Gollum (jh) this is a forum for top half prem sides not fodder like the Albion
villa's attacking prowess make blunt spurs look like 1970's brazil
Sandwell plummeting

So how did that home banker against Sunderland go then? Before any of the predictably dull Villa fans bring up the Albion score today, Albion have already played 6 out of the top 8 away and are still only only a point behind Villa.
