If he won't give Groves a rematch why should Ward give him one. That was a shutout victory for Ward. Wasn't even close. Contradiction Carl strikes again.

JCC is the money fight, Eddie has been lining the fight up for a while, maybe on PPV.

JCC and Froch both given gifts on their last outings.

I think he's been hit too hard.

Surely the Groves rematch is bigger commercially than Ward or Chavez Jr after the past weekend, it's probably bigger legacy wise too so he can bury the hatchet with that situation.

But i think Froch would rather lose his last fight to big names like Ward or Chavez rather than the 'young pretender' Groves.

No the JCC fight is the biggest commercially for Froch largest fan base and American PPV revenue.

And a fight where Froch can look like a skilled technician.

Reason i said Groves would be bigger money wise is because against Groves he'd get the lionshare of the money whereas against JCC i'd assumed he'd get less of the purses.

Froch's popularity in America has grown a lot in recent years, not quite the International Superstar he makes out but he quite well known and has been in some great fights which the American boxing fans appreciate.

Besides, JCC much easier task than Groves, jnr just sleeps till the afternoon and then gets on the weed in his training camp.

The fight may be at light heavy knowing JCC

If only it was just a joke.

JCC and Froch will have one thing in common. Both were lucky to win there last fight. I also can't see JCC leaving the US.

Why should ward come over here and give him a rematch? Beat him convincingly and that's going over "old ground" which is what froch clearly doesn't like..... Except when he fought a past-his-peak Kessler again of course. The man is such a hypocrite!

He said there was no big money in Ward as he is not that exciting a fighter.

Just watched the fight again......

The ref is a disgrace. How is that a valid stoppage and how did froch not have points docked. Pure fix or incompetence of the highest order

I might be alone in this but if I were GG I'd be tempted to let Froch go and fight JCC and go after one of the other belts - go into the rematch with a belt.

Ward is another matter, Froch would get boxed out of the ring again and retire.

Lion - just watched it again myself. More impressed with both the second time around, GG for accuracy and Froch for an ability to take a punch. Say what you like about Froch but the man can take a punch.

Stoppage still looks early though. That said, who'd be a referee - Froch is heavy handed and GG was in trouble. Think he deserved another 5-10 seconds though personally.
