I repeat what is the point of the space, the runs, the beating of his man if there is no end product? Young ronaldo was like that and ole was a better option than him because of that.
---
It isn't just space for him. Repeat as much as you want,....
Simply by him being a threat down the right, from a Spurs perspective, it means that others centrally have more space. If there was no one on the right, as you suggested, there would be the extra body in the middle, reducing space... Some teams play well like that, we don't
Rob your point doesn't really show th full picture. For Belgium he's playing in a 3 man midfield. I also think her quite an overrated team. Once hey play someone like Brazil, Spain, Italy or Getmany in an actual competitive game I think that'll show how good (or not so good) they really are.

they're letting Valencia cross at will, their defenders are just beating you to the ball
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They know it won't go anywhere. All they do is keep pushing him on his left foot which he does not have. At the moment, for me he needs to think before he actually crosses.
He's causing them problems but we need to actually exploit it via a goal or two.

Bebe plays well in the Portugeuse under 21s, reserves and did well on loan but he's crap, right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He scored 1 goal in 17 games in a poor league.
No-one said he was crap but he's not United quality.
Fellaini has been a very good PL player for years now and is a vital part of one of the best international teams in the world at the moment.
Comparing him to Bebe to somehow prove a point is a bit foolish.

This , if Hernandez was playing, they would have a serious problem to deal with
**********************
Rubbish. We are dominating because of actual good link up players everywhere. Remove one and hernandez with his completely useless performance when not scoring will only lose the one thing we have as an advantage, possession.
Hernandez should only be coming on if we are a goal down in the 70 minute.
No it isn't foolish, just shows that people can hide in a team.
Fellaini is not even Everton quality

Absolutely but MuDD is trying to say that playing Fellaini makes us a bad side. I bet he'd say that even if we played him in a 3 man midfield in the PL.
It's true Valencia has absolutely no end product, against Leverkusen he was the worst player on the pitch for us, he gets to the box fine, but when it comes to finding another player in the box (a United player) he's trash
Fellaini is not even Everton quality

When you say rubbish like this it just makes me laugh rather than want to debate.

That's why Gibson took his place in midfield
I wonder how Martinez would have played Fellaini in his team.

I agree, the way Everton play know Felliani wouldn't get in their team IMO.

Did not suggest no one there, suggest a player who could cross. Valencia is not doing amazing things to get into space, they are finding him there easily. If only he could put in one telling cross.

Rooney has been pinging the ball early which gives Valencia the space, it could be anybody there and they'd have the space is the ball is released early.
In hindsight, bar one mistake from Jones -- Cleverley and Jones have done very well in the middle of the park!
That's why Gibson took his place in midfield
---------------------------------------------------------------
Fellaini went to #10 long before Gibson joined. Try harder.

Yes, they are our best pairing IMO, it does of course mean we rely on he wings to create chances.

Cleverley is good but he'll never be the best of anything.
Jones and Carrick is our best pairing by far, followed by Jones and Giggs.
Jones and Rooney have been our best players today.
Aside from his end product Valencia has been good too.
I knew Kagawa would be moved to the left.
I got a bet o United to beat spúds. Where the fluck is ... already injured again
