Sagna's Been Playing Very Well

I've been observing how good he's attack is now. Really has a cross on him now. Before that was by far his weakest point. Last season was a dip in form coming back from 2 leg breaks, but really this season maybe he's the no 1 right back in Europe.

Sagna getting so much space is down to playing a player like Wilshere ahead of him who effectively operates as an inside forward. I think when/if Theo gets back into the side, we'll see more of the overlapping Sagna than the one who is crossing and running from deep.

Sagna has been very good, I still think his crossing can improve in consistency, and he's obviously slowing down a bit, but he's still a very good full back. Hope he signs an extension, but this has the distinct feel of someone leaving the club about it.

He's been very good, but let's not get too carried away. But Dubbed, you make a good point about his attacking play, it's never been his strongest point and at times he still looks a little uncertain when he's high up the pitch, but his crossing certainly seems to have improved.

Really hope he agrees a new contract. If he wants to leave now there's not much we can do. It'll be like the 07/08 Flamini situation.

Am I right in thinking he's allowed to sign a pre contract with another club after new years?

I have a gut feeling that he will leave us by the end of this season.

Yes, but not an English club.

As good as he's been, I don't think he'd be an issue replacing.

I do. Who could we sign to guarantee they'd be as good as him?

I have faith in Wenger.

Saw us linked with richards earlier and although I wouldn't mind him as back up no way in hell should he replace sagna. But like dubbed said I trust wenger to make the right decision

Richards? If we hated Sagna's attacking we'll absolutely loathe Richards.
Don't want him. Want a right back who can defend as well as attack. A mobile one at that.

Best in Europe?? What information network have you got access to which allows you to make such a comment? He has been good, and much better than last year, but to make such a comment is ill informed and looks a bit silly really.

50p does talk garbage Brain. Ignore him. He does that often.
Hype up our players.

Richards is awful, well overrated. Used to be a good prospect but has fallen behind alot due to injuries and not playing.

I think Sagna will stay and hopefully next season Jenko will be ready.

Ideally for me Sagna would stay one more year (if not more) to help Jenkinson and perhaps Bellerin to be eased in. I thought that would be the case with CJ this season, but clearly not.

Not a fan of Sagna's attacking at all but he's a rock defensively. Would need to buy if we're to replace him. Jenkinson isn't the future.
