Can see the yellow streak running down his back. Knows he got his ass whooped by someone he ranks well below himself and doesn't want the shame of taking another beating and a loss to go with it.
I said this on the night.
Froch vs Chavez in Vegas then retire.
Then retire remembered as a chicken s h a t and not the warrior you so deperately crave for! It will all of been for nothing carl if you dont settle it with groves, win or lose in a rematch you have proven your not scared of anyone, theres no shame in defeat but there is in going back on your word and bottling a fight when you make the claims like you have!
Leave Carl alone, he's an international Superstar
Carl has been a great world champion, and better fights than borezage.

If he wants a big pay day then he should take on Adonis. HBO are going big on Adonis so this fight will make money in UK PPV and the US. Adonis called Froch out a few times now and he might even go down to super middle but if Froch wants to leave a legacy then he should go up to light heavy and try and become a 2 weight champion.
I’ve watched the fight back 3 times now and I see little evidence of Froch “getting a foothold” in the fight. For me groves clearly won rounds 7 & 8 and until Froch’s flurry where he lands the two decent punches Groves is in charge in the 9th aswell.
Therefrore, I think Groves should pursue a World Title via another route unless he thinks he could knock Froch out.
Without a KO there’s too much risk of the officials stitching him up again.
Froch is simply weighing up his options and looking for the biggest money fight for himself. When he knows the GG rematch will be a real money spinner it will happen. He won't go near Ward. Probably take on Chavez for serious money and then the GG fight will happen in 9 months time.
Not sure how Chavez Jr is going to make Froch money? He's not even PPV in the US and even the Mexicans don't like him.
He does bring in money and is an easy win for Froch. Basic economics and physics ie the path of least resistance.
That is the boxing legacy left by Floyd, the most money for the easiest fight.
Floyd has a lot to answer for.
No. Its alegacy left by all champions in history and cemented when Paq decided to drag an ancient SSM into the ring for a beatdown after Floyd had schooled him.
