Never enjoyed laughing at you more
awesome stuff from Holtby. Great energy off the bench, you can tell he can't wait to get out there, won the game for us
To be honest with you I felt the same way and still do kinda...
Off the bench Holtby is fine, but to start him is a no no.
Frankly I'm not at all sure about Holtby. Glad he got his goal. But before that, he sure ain't no Lionel Messi.
Holtby is a good player, I would have liked him at Arsenal.
our reliance on wonder goals is really bad and will not work in the long term, as we have seen this season. last year we relied on bale, this year we are relying on any player smashing it from 30 yards because we can't cut through any team. that is why, for me, AVB is massively at fault and I don't think he will change it because we have been playing this way since last season. only diff is we had bale then

If you want him at Arsenal, who would you give in return?

Well, no one. I said I 'would' have liked him, but now we've signed Ozil, there's not really any room.
Decent player though
onehopeful we won that game? what's the problem
you saw two wonder strikes, the team dominate away from home in a london derby. Avb did change it up, i swear lamela and lennon spent most of the time on their perceived correct wings, and AVB's sub scored the winning goal.

Course I'm happy with the result and i was one of the massively pro-AVB fans. That said, we still don't look very good and i think AVB is a bit tactically inept. Yes when they were on correct wings we were much better. Lets see if he sticks to that
I like Holtby. He is a clever player, but is not blessed with pace or strength. However the rest of the team can worry about that. Without Erikson injured only him and Siggy have the ability to split a defence imo.
Got to credit AVB with bringing Lennon back in for Townsend especially after Andros' England heroics. At the moment Lennon must start on the right for me. Have to be patient with him and trust he'll get it right.
One hopeful,
I know what you mean. We aren't exactly entertaining to watch at the moment
But we'll get better I am sure of that, just need to be patient

Was at the cottage and trust me he was ecstatic. Went up to every single section of our stand pumping his fist and going nuts at the final whistle. The guy is so passionate and clearly a fan favourite. Love the guy and think he's a great player.

Chronic - Do you now agree with me that I had a point when I questioned having 2 defensive midfielders against Fulham?

I like him, delighted he got the goal last night, but I've seen very little from him to suggest that he's a natural number 10. I think he could be useful further back in midfield though, he's a workhorse and can pass a ball, just not as creative as he probably needs to be
