Predictions for this season?

To be honest, at first my mind was clouded by the lack of transfer activity and I was becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of a new striker.

However, having had time to think about it: last season we had Europe to contend with and our strikers were shocking. This season our strikers can only be better than last and we don't have Europe.

Arsenal are weaker and Liverpool have splashed cash on players that wouldn't get in to our first XI so I'm quite (surprisingly) optimistic!

4th.

By Europe, I mean the Europe that counts obviously!

What's the deal with Keane? I rate him. Why does he never seem to settle at a club. He can score goals. Doesn't seem too gel with a co-striker.

Brain says 5th, heart says 4th...and i usually follow my heart

Liverpool will crash and burn, they have bought very average players and this season they wont have the new manager factor coming in and giving everyone a boost

UTD for the title, City 2nd, Chelsea 3rd

Are Gareth and Christian Bale related, or are their only a few surnames in Wales?

Gareth Bale is one of a kind

Yes he is especial. I heard Arsenal have put a cheeky bid in four him.

I believe many people under estimate how good a team Spurs have. Last season we missed our most important player(Huddlestone), also, our strikers were completly out of form and we were in the CL for the first time. We still got 62 points with the squad we have I expect us to get 72 points, if we add one or two, I think 80plus.

80+ can win u the league. Do u think that Spurs can win the league? I think thats a bit ambicious.

I don't personally. I see Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea top 3.

Spurs / Lpool / Arsenal for 4,5,6. As I said Arsenal are weaker, Lpool have just bought mediocre players and we're the same as last season but we don't have the Champs League and our strikers shouldn't be as bad!

I agree with your top 3 and also your next 3. Like you say it's just the order the teams come that needs to be decided.

Why were Spurs strikers so bad last year and what makes you so confendant they will improve?

Currently I believe our team can get 70points, if we add a two top class players we can add another 10 points. If it is 80points for the title, then, yes I believe Spurs can win it. Spurs must aim to be number 1.

Adebuyor (?spelling - some people on here think it's a spelling competition) would be a good buy (or is that a goodbye ?). He holds the ball up well and causes havoc in defences. I remember the season in my last year in school when he nearly beet Ronaldo to the golden boot, so he can score goals to. Although he is bit like Crouch. Also it would wind up the Gooners. Maybe he could run the length of the pitch if he scores
