Arguably the hardest domestic game of the season so far, on paper.
They have some quality players and pretty much all the ingredients to give us a very tough time.
I think Walcott must start this one. If Martinez sticks by his principles, they will play us without fear and have fullbacks bombing up, creating space for Theo and co. Just hope Giroud adapts if it is a fast paced game.
honestly feel we will win comfortably, as good as they are we are better all over the pitch and it's better for us at home if teams try and play against us.
They aren't going to open up and play us off the park. They are very sound defensively and pick their moments to strike. A lot like us in fact. It will be very tough but I think we can beat them.

I think the confidence is justified, purely because of how good our defence have been this season.
They've been great ever since the Villa game, but we kept conceding really silly/unlucky goals which led to scorelines like 3-1, 4-1 etc. Now we've cut out those mistakes and clean sheets are flowing.
I reckon it'll be a tough game but we'll win 3-1 in the end. A sort of 'Scoreline makes it look easier than it was' type of thing.
I think the big advantage is we rested a lot of players and had a pretty easy game last night. They've probably paid the toughest, physically/mentally draining match of their season last night. Now is probably the best time to play them. Kind of similar of how we traveled to OT after winning in Dortmund.

It wouldn't matter to them. They don't play in Europe so they can approach each league game with max intensity. There's enough rest time for them before and after the game to put their focus into it.
If I am not wrong Martinez likes to play passing touch 1-2 football like Arsenal but Arsenal are level ahead of Everton in this business just like Barcelona are level ahead of Arsenal.
So When we have played Barcelona in past we have struggled because we can't beat them in their passing game (Barring couple of results). I think if Everton try to play in same as Arsenal it will be playing in our hands. Especially when our defense is in top form with Flamini doing excellent job to shield back 4, will be difficult for Everton to break us...I guess Theo didn't play because AW might have plan to unleash him against Everton.
I would like to see,
-----------------Chesney-----------------
Jenki--------Per-------Kos--------Gibbs
--------------Flam-------Ramsey--------------
---Theo-------------Ozil------------Wilshire--
---------------------Giroud---------------------
Bench - Fab, Nacho, Arteta, TV, Cazorla, B52, Rosicky...
That team is absolutely stunning and should beat Everton..
My prediction : 3-1 Arsenal.
I think we may not keep clean sheet as Everton are really doing well but still we should win it.
Hmm I thought Sagna may be back for this? I know it's a hamstring issue but apparently it was minor.
I would like to see
Szcz
Jenks Per Kos Gibbs
Flam Arteta
Ramsey Ozil Theo
Giroud
IMO Arteta and Flamini should both play this game. Everton are a quality side and a bit more protection won't hurt, especially with the talent we have in attack.
Ramsey roams about anyway, he's never restricted to the wing.
I am not sure about Sagna,,better we rest him to be honest, don't want his hamstring problem popping head again...
Verminator
I am loving this...good headache to select playing XI is always nice.
I would go for
Szczesny
Sagna(if fit) Mert Kos Gibbs
Arteta Ramsey
Jack Ozil Santi
Giroud
Martinez adapt's to the opponent.
They sat back, countered and surrendered let us have possession when we faced them and that was at Goodison Park.
So i doubt they will go at you all guns blazing away from home, to be honest.
