We had Hasselbaink and Gudjohnsen (one of the best partnership's i have ever seen), and never finished higher than 4th

One problem was loaning our only midfielder that can pass forward

We don't use our resources Marco. Your reserves are there to help the team but the pressure to win every game for Chelsea managers is too great it seems

Cech passes forward though, so we don't even need midfielders half of the time.

Just responding to two post Sideshow made.

1. Who scores if Suarez doesn't. The answer being Sturridge.(19 goals in 26 games)

2. No Suarez, no chance of top 4. That answer being, he does play for Liverpool.

Yeah we play hoofball with 5ft #10s because no one else in between can do anything

He likes the thrill of the chase but gets bored of his collection...........at the moment he collects no 10s, in January he will collect no 6s

Jumping up and down all game is too tiring for Juan

Especially when he has to simultaneously act as our 1 man midfield in most games

I actually think Roman will be collecting #8s next. We'll have about 12 Scholes types on loan next year.
