How You Can Tell Our Defence Is Top Notch?

I still think Gibbs had (albeit just a split second of) time to clear the ball and chance to block the shot.

I think we should go out with the mindset to attack them. Too many teams go to the Etihad try and soak up the pressure and defend, but their attack force and the speed at which they play is too much for teams to handle and eventually they get picked apart. Sometimes attack is the best form of defence and this is one of those occasions. Would love nothing more than to break their annoying home record.

If we sit back, it'll be a very long afternoon. We sat back at Old Trafford for some strange reason and lost there, City are far superior. Sitting back should not be an option, just look at what happened yesterday in the first 40 minutes, although I can understand why we didn't press.

I would tend to agree with this. If City play with Fernandinho and Toure as a midfield duo, then I can our midfielders, particularly Özil and Ramsey, getting a lot of joy in behind the midfield. Whilst a very good pairing, they leave a lot of space in front of the defence, leave them exposed. Something that we should definitely attack.

Goes without saying that we will have to soak up a lot of pressure, which we can, but we won't get dominated. Can't wait for the game.

Whoever controls the midfield wins the game. We have the best midfield and a better defence. Giroud will need support and that's where theo will be most effective.

2-1 to us.

We beat Bayurn and Dortmund away.

Why can't we go to Merc City and win?

I read this right before our midfield were overrun against Everton. A good many here are overrating our middle. We still have some glaring deficiencies in there.

And City actually have a better midfield.

Sheriff do you ever say anything positive about Arsenal?

posted on 10/12/13

As good as Everton was that their only real chance and they took it.

We had a couple of chances

Sheriffs boyfriend supports United.

So if Sheriff says anything good about Arsenal, then his boyfriend won't have seexx with him for atleast a week.

True, but I think for all your possession, we actually had more clear chances IMO. That's not a criticism of you but more a complement to how very good Koscielny and Mertesacker were (as they have been for a long while now).

Everton were probably the toughest team we've faced this season, after Dortmund. I'd love to see you get top 4 ahead of Utd, Tottenham, Liverpool, etc. and it's certainly possible, especially with the run of fixtures you have coming up. Big fan of Martinez as well, seems like he's taken you to another level than under Moyes.

City away will be difficult. They will be up for it the way Utd was. I will take a draw with both hand and feet.

And why did they only have one chance?
