You are more than welcome on here. We have tried to keep the site as true to the old 606 as we could, so it is, as you correctly point out a little unimaginative. We just liked the old 606 and hope others did too.

I like the adult and straightforward nature of this site.

If you want big avatars, image posting, profanity galore and lots of gizmos or a different look there are plenty of alternatives.

There's room for all, but we all take our pick.

Your right about the mods,I just tried to call the Peterborough owner/chairman somthing accurate on another thread,but they wouldn't let me.

Its just a little limiting that's all,I faithfully stuck with the the old BBC 606 till the death,its the first forum I ever signed up to so I'm pretty fond of it and pretty annoyed when the BBC pulled the plug.Just think it was a little limiting with regard to scope for extras to make it a little more interesting,as the new 606 has managed to do.As we live in a democracy and freedom of speech is at the foundation of a democratic society a little profanity and vulgar talk is fine by me.As we all know attending a live football match is not like attending a church sermon its passionate and angry,therefore I see know reason if,we are discussing football why profanity is not acceptable.The two go hand in hand.

today i joined to see what was going on,
i must admit although heavily modded i like this format , its basic and uncomplicated , it works for what it is. new 606 is ok but you cant post threads on multiple teams sites like you can on here , and that makes match threads much better
