Wow. City Fans Are Confident.

Their home league record over the past 2 years tells you all you need to know.

United and Spurs have gone for 10 between them at the Etihad this season. Whilst Arsenal have every right to feel they can get something from the game, if it clicks for City there's a definite possibility you could get walloped in the same way.

True. But they are underestimating us a little.

Been fairly arrogant on here too I think. "Crushed like a grape" in the words of one. Obviously they will be favourites, but it's the kind of game we should do well in. Would love it if we beat them.

If it clicks for us they can get a walloping, too. We smashed them 3-0 not so long ago, they've only scored twice against us in the last 3 meetings at the Etihad.

Our defence is amazing as well. Koscielny is the only player I've seen place Aguero in his pocket.

I haven't read the comments to be honest. But it will be decided by those on the pitch, not those on the forums.

To be honest I'm really looking forward to this game. I like both teams so I can just enjoy it without any bias. With so many in form players it should be a beauty

I'd be confident if I were them. Scoring for fun and sheet.

But I'm confident in our team also.

Bit unfair They still averaged 30,000+ in the third tier. And when your closest neighbours are you-know-who, I don't begrudge them any success after the crap they've put up with for 20 years.

Would still prefer to see the Gunners win the league though.

I can understand their confidence considering City's form at home right now, but I'm relatively certain that Arsenal will be an entirely different proposition. I can't remember the last time that we got obliterated with our strongest, or near to our strongest team.

I've no doubt you would see similar threads on many one club myopic forums
I'm sure if you looked on Redcafe or RAWK,similar arrogance is alive & kicking
Arsenal played us off the park last year at the Etihad and I was delighted to escape with a draw
Saturday will be a very difficult game and really could go either way, first goal will be crucial

I made a post last week when one Arsenal fan said that only Augero would get into you're first 11.

I found that staggering.

Hart
Zabaleta
Gibbs
Kompany
Mertesacker
Ozil
Toure
Ramsey
Silva
Nasri
Aguero

That would be my mixed team

City were always cautious against us under Mancini can't see Pellegrini doing the same. Could go either way but neither team will be hammered

Not a chance either Hart or Nasri get in ahead of Wojcech (on current form) and Cazorla.

Nasri has been excellent this season

If they're home, I can understand their confidence. But at the emirates is a different matter

@Dubbed you've just proven my point...

Real City fans don't do confident.

You should really have beaten us in this fixture last year, but fortunately Gervinho played a blinder for us. Different City this year. We'll see.

What? You think Nasri's on par with Aguero? Cazorla is comfortably the superior player.
