This whole filling your team with central midfielders is no longer working.

Yeah, I accepted it as being needs must when Walcott was injured (although I still would have wanted Gnabry to play more), but the fact that Walcott has just been sat on the bench the last few games, particularly when we've been getting pegged back so comfortably, is unfathomable.
Agreed, we were woeful in the 2nd half - sat far too deep, pushing up with Walcott on may have seen a differrent result.
You just know we're going to get one of the traditional big boys in the next round ffs...
This also doesn't bode well for the game @ City, confidence & energy wise - what a fackin bad night...
I've been a staunch defender of Wenger, but his intransigence has already cost us points, I feel.
Hopefully, this will serve as the wake-up call he needed.
