Lampard was rested cause it's relegation fodder. When Essien plays it says Jose thinks the opposition is cack
And Mata and Luiz it seems atm

He played well agst Man City's vibrant midfield so don't see why he would have failed agst Palace.

Gazza..............for me the concern is that for the last three league games it has been the same, from a position of total control we have allowed teams back into the match, we could have dropped points today and at sunderland and dropped 3 massive points last week, all games we were in control of and could have won comfortbaly.

I didn't think we were that bad today.

There is going to be a game this season where everyone of our chances go in and it would not surprise me if it was agst Arsenal
Rather against Real / Barca / Bayern
This has to be one of the most winnable championships I can remember since taking up an interest in the late 90s, honesty it's not so hard to comprehend us being 2nd. Arsenal & Liverpool aren't serious threats (yet!) - they're just not.
Whoever gets their January business right between ourselves and City will win the league, no question about it.
Are you on about managers or players ?
Do City need to do busines in January?
City don't need any more players. Greed if they do.
The league is as tight as it has ever been with only 8 points between us and spurs.
Its only winnable if City make it so, they can walk this league if they play to their full potential

Spurs are absolutely sh-t, the fact they are still in touch just shows what a mess other teams have made of it so far

True that. I expect it to widen after New Year fay fixtures.
I just hope that we're not all waiting for .........you know who to catch us up !
Stranger things have happened !
City's entire defence including the keeper are extremely vulnerable, by contrast our attacking has no cutting edge. If either of us sorts out these issues and the other doesn't, the win will be decided by the team that capitalised in January.
I would say if Arsenal bought strategically they can buy themselves this title as well, but everyone knows that's not going to happen.
because the rest of the league is very strong think year look at City, United and us smaller teams are getting points against the so called bigger teams.
